About Us

Marielle grew up in El Paso, Texas, the youngest of 4 sisters who have all learned to play piano.  At the age of 5, Marielle began watching and learning piano from her older sisters, and at the age of 7, she began taking private lessons.  Marielle later went to college and received her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education.  Marielle has combined this degree with her love and talent for piano artistry, and it has resulted in Mathison Music, LLC.  Marielle continues to use her talent in her church, playing the piano for congregational worship, the church choir, offertory specials, and for vocal duets with her husband, Wesley.

Marielle is a member of MTNA, MMTA, AAAPTG, and VMT.

Tiffany was born and raised in Farmington, New Mexico as the middle of 6 kids. Her music training was sporadic as a child because there were not many teachers available where she grew up. She began developing a love for music at the age of 15, and in college, she pursued a degree in Music Ministries. She graduated with her Bachelor’s in Music and married her husband Elliot in May of 2024. She now uses her skills in piano to play for congregational worship, offertory specials, church music groups, and accompanies herself and her husband in specials at church. She loves working with children and has a passion to provide an opportunity for them to learn about the wonders of music.

Wesley may not be a pianist but he is Marielle's biggest support by taking on the roll of Business Manager.  He does all of the behind the scenes work such as scheduling, billing and invoicing, social media and website management, and advertising.  Wesley participates in some way with each student's lesson even though he may not be present at your lesson.  If you ever have any questions about billing, invoices, student portal, website, or social media, feel free to contact him directly.
